Public transportation in Accra, Ghana mainly consists of buses, tro-tros (minivans), and taxis. Tro-tros are the most common form of public transportation in Accra and are often crowded and uncomfortable. However, they are also the cheapest way to get around the city. Buses are also available, but they are not as common as tro-tros. Taxis are also available, but they are more expensive than tro-tros and buses. It is important to negotiate the fare before getting into a taxi.


Private transportation options include renting a car, hiring a driver, or using ride-hailing services such as Uber and Bolt.

1. Independence Square - This is the site where Ghana declared independence from British colonial rule in 1957.
2. Labadi Beach - A popular beach for swimming and sunbathing.
3. Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park - A park dedicated to the first president of Ghana, Kwame Nkrumah.

5. Osu Castle - A former slave trading post and the seat of government for the British Gold Coast colony.
6. Accra Mall - A modern shopping mall with a variety of shops and restaurants.
7. Aburi Botanical Gardens - A lush garden located in the hills outside of Accra, featuring a variety of tropical plants and trees
